Big Windows
Like unyielding, sallow globs of canola oil
Droplets congeal and dribble,
Weaving a sloppy blanket of moist thread
That crochets its iridescent stitches down
A transparency of four story walls.
Two adjacent glass panes
Hug the dry heliotrope chair between them.
In, looking out
An espy of some blurred optics:
Rain chops particles of light into circles
And then smaller circles.
