Study Break

It tickles,
Your invariable vertical strands
Against my bareness,
Clenched thighs and grapping calves.
As I lay here
(Making this up)
I don’t feel so guilty.

Your blithe face
Adjoining my left hip
Reacts when I twitch
I squeeze you between these stems
As one hugs a pillow in their sleep.
